Students Honoring our Loved Ones
Students for Seniors is a non-profit, student-run organization focused on brightening the days of senior citizens living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. With the help of our tireless students, we raise money and provide various services to these elderly residents.
On December 15th, 2022, we organized an event at the Christian Health Care center to brighten up the day of the seniors living there. We brought Poinsettias donated by Abma's Farm and Stone House Nursery, and gave one out to each senior. We had a great time playing trivia, board games, and enjoyed refreshments. The seniors had a great time and so did we.
A massive thank you to any volunteers who have aided us through our mission. A massive thank you to Stone House Nursery for the donation of mums and pumpkins to our most recent event. Thank you to Abma's Farm for their generous donations at our flower planting events. Each and every one of you has played a role in aiding in bringing joy to our senior citizens.
